Clockup's Euphoria

No, not that Euphoria. This is the good one. The show is garbage.

Welcome to my page about Euphoria!

I'm so glad that you are willing to learn about this god-forsaken visual novel. I love it so much.

What is Euphoria?

Euphoria is a 2011 visual novel (categorised under nukige, more specifically, due to its NSFW content).
And despite looking like your typical
hentai coomer game, get this...IT ACTUALLY HAS A PLOT.

That's right. It has a plot. I won't be discussing much of it here because spoilers, but it's there.

Unfortunately, Euphoria contains shit that most people can't stomach. In the literal sense, also. Just so you're aware.

If you're sensitive to gore and general NSFW themes and you'd rather not read about that kinda stuff,
I understand. Here's some eye bleach.

The plot

Our protagonist here is Keisuke Takatou. He wakes up in a white room, and when he finally makes his way out of that room,
he meets none other than Kanae Hokari. She is his childhood friend, who could've guessed.

We find out that we're not the only ones locked in this white facility. Along with Keisuke and Kanae, there's:

Miyako Andou, class rep.
Natsuki Aoi, an English teacher
Rika Makiba, a junior
Rinne Byakuya, a same-year student
Nemu Manaka, our classmate

So basically it's kind of like Saw but with cute anime girls.

Then there's this whole segment where we find out that we are an "Unlocker" while the girls are "Keyholes".
I'm sure you can see where this is going.

This is where we learn that the game won't make us feel euphoric.

Miyako lashes out at the electronic voice that provided us with the rules, and guess what happens to her?
She gets the electric chair. The scene is drawn out, and frankly...pretty disgusting.

But wait! THERE'S MORE!

It turns out that Keisuke is a sick FUCK. And Nemu knows. Oh, she fucking knows.

So she's like, "hey, why don't you choose Kanae from now on?" Keisuke's like "what the fuck, no"
And we don't get the option to choose Kanae until we get a certain ending.

I won't go into detail about what happens after all this. You should play the game yourself or read about it elsewhere to find out ;)

But why do you like this game, Sasho? You sick fuck.

The plot, mostly.
Also because it was an emotional roller coaster. It was disgusting, but also fascinating.
I found myself re-playing this game several times due to how interested I was in the plot.
